The Suisse band "die Welttraumforscher" has been busy since the early 1980s. Their founder and (to our knowledge) only member of the band, Christian Pfluger, has put out numerous LPs, cassettes and CDs. The music has its origins in the early homerecording tape music movement. In their phantasmagoric cosmos, die Welttraumfoscher blend Science Fiction with children music, Lo-Fi sampling, British crop circles, fairy-tales, rumbling noises and influences of bands such as the Residents and der Plan.

This album contains remixes of their music by Mouse on Mars, Felix Kubin, Barbara Morgenstern, FX Randomiz, Neoangin, Schlammpeitziger, Minitchev, Nova Huta, Harald "Sack" Ziegler, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, Joe Tabu and Klangwart.
